When We Went Camping 
Where we went:
See that
little green island all the way up in the corner? Thats where we
went, Rock Island State Park, way the fuck up in Lake Michigan, which by
the way is pretty cold, even in the summer. It took us quite a while
to ge there. I think we were on the road 7 hours and then 45 minutes
on one ferry and maybe 20 minutes on the other, but it was well worth it.
As you can see forst we had to get to Waskington Island and then we had
to get to Rock Island.
How we got there:
We borrowed Paul's van to get there. This is Paul and my daddy loading
the van.
This is Melissa and I and our sock monkey's at the first rest stop.
I think its still in Illinois but its on the way.
This is the ferry we took from the pennisula to Washington Island - our
first stop.
What we took:
This is Paul and Marty and Karen with some of our stuff. We
had more! We had to carry all that stuff to our campsite by the way.
Where we camped:
This is our tent. My sock monkey is sitting on my bed. Karen
Packard slept next to me where the orange bag is. Then Marty slept
in the front on the left and Melissa on the right. It was nice and
cozy :).

Aren't they pretty? On the other side was our own private rock beach.
We went out and threw stones into Lake Michigan in the morning. Us
on an island, what a great camping trip! :)
